24th Investiture Ceremony

The 24th Investiture Ceremony at Montfort Higher Secondary School for the academic year 2025 - 2026 was held on 27the June 2025, in a solemn ceremony. The event was presided over by Sub-Inspector Mr. Dhyalan , S1 Police Station, St. Thomas Mount.
The event was conducted with high degree of earnestness and gusto with the School Theme of the year “TOGETHER WE GROW, TOGETHER WE GLOW”. The programme commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp to symbolize, every leader is a beacon spreading warmth to everyone around them. With the energetic beats of the drums, the new Student Council marched in procession up the aisle and on to the stage. They stood upright with their heads held high and their hearts in humility as each of them was invested, picking up their precious flags.
The parents of the Office bearers were also present on stage along with their child while they were being invested. The chief guest administered the oath of office as the members of the council pledged to adhere to the values and principles upheld by the school.
The Chief Guest in his message first addressed the audience and those who aspire to become leaders in the future. He said, if we continue to put our utmost effort and be sincere, leadership will come to us in the least expected way. He also highlighted the significance of being a leader and the role they play in moulding themselves as efficient citizens of the country. The School Pupil Leader Master Roohan Reddy proposed the vote of thanks and the program ended with the School Song and National Anthem .
