KIDS ANNUAL DAY

The Kids Annual Day Commenced with pomp and gay as ever on 27th March 2010. With the tiny tots of Std. IV and V listing out the forthcoming programmes – leading the entire ceremony with utmost order and discipline, the auspicious twilight received a spiritual glow through the graceful entry of the Prayer Dance team.

Followed by this splendid performance, the LKG buds blossomed on stage to present their musical dance with their tiny feet hopping to the rhythm of “Playmate”. Immediately thereafter the audience enjoyed witnessing The Counting Rhyme Recitation by the students of standard I and II of MMHSS. Next we had the UKG crew dancing to “The Old Brass Wagon”. The verse in action by Std. III proved to be an amazing event highlighting the ceaseless thirst of expressing a familiar poem “Abou Ben Adhem” in more creative and innovative manner. The students of Std. III and IV theatered the play the Nursery Rhyme Picnic with colourful props and appropriate costumes. Following this the cheerful crowd enjoyed the glittering performance of little children dancing to the beats of “Happy Boys and Happy Girls.” With shimmering red and

silver apparels they sprayed the fragrance of happiness in the air through their unfailing energetic display of talents. The nightingales of the Little Angels Choir sang a melody “The Candy Mountain.” Through the skit, “It’s a Beautiful World”, the students efficiently expressed their loving care towards their own environment.

The honourable Chief Guest, Mrs. Krishna Iyer, Child Development Specialist confessed that the evening’s programme threw her spell-bound.
